Great railway station, very clean with a quality coffe shops, historical building yet modern touches. Very user friendly, good local bus connections to the rest of city and also to Copenhagen. Öresundståg and SJ connections to Stockholm and great link to the local bus network.
The train station itself was nice. And the train to Copenhagen was also OK as trains in Europe are. My main beef, and why I took out two stars is this:nn- if you have any larger luggage like when you are going to the airport, the train cars are not really designed well to handle it. They don’t have adequate luggage holding compartments. Like in our case I ended up sliding all over the car with my large suitcase when there were too many people taking the train that took all the available luggage spaces. Which weren’t many.nn- the signs and everything else is in Swedish. Which I obviously can’t complain as a tourist. But since the trains connect directly to an international airport I would expect some signs and announcements in English.
The main Central Station in Malmo, Sweden. The station is a relatively small station compared to Copenhagen central station. It offers all the basics that a train station offer - convenience stores, restaurants, ATM, etc. though selection maybe limited. Just remember that you will need to pay to use the toilet.
Amazing railway station, very clean with a big variety of shops, modern, flooded with light, numerous speedy connections to Copenhagen via the Öresundståg and SJ connections to Stockholm and great link to the local bus network
The train line between Malmö and Copenhagen was under service when we were headed back to CPH from Stockholm, so had to change here to ride the substitute bus. The station is nice with modern amenities, easy to navigate. We weren't sure where the bus was since it wasn't a regular line bus and staff were helpful in getting us to the loading area. The line for the airport bus was pretty long, but we only waited 10 minutes.
