We went mid July 2015.nnGorgeous day trip to the beach from Stockholm on the No#19 Green to Hassleby Strand on the Metro from T Central. 11 min walk down to the beach. Huge open grassy park with a sandy beach. Great for families. There are a few porta-loos scattered about free. A small food n drink kiosk which is soo cheap compared to Normall in Stockholm. Maybe seasonal?nGreat for swimming too soft sandy sloping bottom with marked out swimming areas for kids and adults. Some jetties too if you want an ice challenge.. it's nippy but very refreshing, fresh water.nGorgeous views out over to the next island.nKids playground and out door gym too. Ball games at the back.nA few BBQ bits scattered about open to use I guess?..nAll in all a lovely relaxing place with everything.
This beach is walkable from Hasselby strand tbana. I personally like it much because there is lot of space to sit and relax, basically the green grass and blue waters. A good place to come with family or friends with barbecue and food, and carry on some cards or ball to play with.
The beach is great, with nature all around. It's calm in the weekend and beatifull overall.
I love this beach for ots amazing location.Very family friendly and the DJ at the kiosk knows his game.
