Masthuggskyrkan Church is located in Gothenburg western suburbs, high on a cliff in a residential area. The approach might be challenging as it's steep, but very quiet at the same time with almost no one around.nIt's a Lutheran Church, built in 20 c, very big with only stones and bricks used. Downside is it was closed, so we couldn't enter. From the terrace by the Church you can capture great views of the city
Church noted for both Christian and Norse imagery. Nave constructed to resemble an inverted longship. Built on an elevated location to the south west of the City centre. Clean toilet facilities. Donations accepted electronically.
The hilltop by Masthugget Church offers one of the most breathtaking views in Gothenburg. You can see the entire city and the river winding through it. It’s an amazing spot for photography—especially at dusk, when the city lights start to sparkle. Peaceful, scenic, and truly relaxing.
Good view see all Göteborg it’s Romantic
Beautiful nordic church on top of a hill overlooking Gothenburg. One of the best viewpoints of the city. We were here on a weekday and it was almost empty.nnHighly recommended especially for tourists.
