Swedish composer Mattias Sjöberg seeks to explore the expressive and spiritual depths of music, primarily choral and vocal music. His music have been performed in various parts of Sweden as well as in Germany, Austria, France and Iceland. He is active both as singer and composer in Uppsala cathedral. On Februari 4th 2017 he won first prize in the SATB a capella class of the composition competition held by Diocese of Stockholm Sacred Choral Music Association with the piece "Ett nådens år". On Oct 29th 2017 two commissioned choral works were premiered on live television and broadcasted on national radio at the 500 years celebration of the Reformation in Uppsala cathedral.
