It is so much better than MacDonald. I love the fries dip sauce. The food was ready within 10 minutes, the restaurant wasn’t crowded around 4.30 pm. The downside was the toilet ran out of tissues and was bit dirty but other than that the eating area was clean.
Incompetent workers that don't warn the customers that their payment system is down. Just watching on as more and more customers try to order without saying anything, with money being locked up in their bank account for every order. Genuinely the most pathetic group of people working their and then they refuse to compensate despite their inaction in warning people about a KNOWN issue.
One of the best outlet of Swedish burger chain in Göteborg. Cool interior , quick service with plenty of parking adjoining to filling station.
Usually max is a great place to eat, but this one has some real issues, I would say travel a few extra km and go to the one in Bäckebol or at Ullevi since we've rarely had issues there. Approximately 50% of the orders we've made since December 2020 have had issues.nnThe order is often filled incorrectly/without care and on more than one occasion I've arrived home with take away food and it's been burned.nnOn one occasion the staff were quite rude at the drive through when we asked to swap a beef patty with a halloumi burger. Even though you can sort of do this on the app they refused.nnOverall pretty disappointing, because for a long time we wanted a max nearby.
If you want to have good junk food go to Max in Sweden. Generally a good experience although the food is on the higher end of the price spectrum for junk food for a Dutch. The best thing is there vegan and vegetarian options.nThe visit to this Max was somewhat unsatisfying. Bringing in SEK 420 for burgers, fries and one drink is serious money. When we received two lukewarm fries and definitely not crispy as the my are advertised, and I went to ask for new ones, three staff members started laughing, touching the bags as if I just told them a fairy tale and had to go to the back to check what to do….nWow. Quite embarrassing.nWe received new fries after the feedback from the back office ‘3 minutes’ and not more by the way. They were just as they should be.nWell done Max Sorry I have to ask for the quality you promise though, and saying ‘sorry’ is free
