Nice park for relaxing, picknicks and swimming with a long pier reaching into deeper areas of the water. Nice in the evening during sunsets but never a lonely place unless the weather is bad. Nearby is also a small dog beach. The water is rather shallow with a stony ground in the beginning.

It is not by a long shot Öland's best bathing bay, because here there is neither shallow nor sandy bottom. In fact, it is quite rocky here, but it is rarely very crowded and the water temperature is not worse than in other places around the island. The beach is really best enjoyed in the evening, when you can go down and throw a sandwich into the sunset!

Recommended, consider P site and no camping, therefore no extended service other than paid toilet at the swimming area.

Close to Borgholm and can withstand both north and west winds. There may be some trapped water in the northernmost part. Unfortunately, you charge for parking, but Borgholm isn't big, so you can park elsewhere if you don't want to sponsor the municipality.
