Many thanks to Thomas at the workshop who helped us, we will be forever grateful :nnWe were supposed to drive to Stockholm on 15/2 and started driving from Malmö that day. After about 3 hours of driving, we had a puncture on the E4. The towing company was quick but could not fix the puncture on the spot and drove us to Mekonomen in Mjölby.nnAt Mekonomen we met Thomas who was finally going home but stopped to hear why we had ended up with them because they were not a tire company and if the towing company had driven us directly to one, we would have been able to drive on to Stockholm that evening.nnSince our own insurance company could not help us with a rental car because it was Thursday and late, Thomas called Sixt Rent A Car in Mjölby and after 10 minutes we had a rental car and we could drive on to Stockholm.nnThomas told us on Thursday that he would order tires and the car could only be fixed on Monday, and we explained that we would already drive back to Malmö on Saturday but if the car could only be fixed on Monday, I only had one option to drive to Malmö on Saturday and then on Monday drive back to Mjölby and pick up the car.nnThomas called us later on Friday, and said that he had found two tires that would fit our car and he would drive himself and pick them up so that the car could be fixed already on Saturday morning.nnWe picked up the car on Saturday and now we are home in Malmö and don't have to drive back :nnThomas at Mekonomen didn't have to do all that extra to make sure the car was ready on time, but he did it anyway. He managed to turn a boring experience into something positive that we will never forget.nnMany thanks again Thomas for all your efforts. When you meet people like you, you start to believe in humanity again.
They have helped me a lot.nI needed help with a warehouse, service and an inspection.nPrice is what it is, if they have done a good job and it has taken half a day.nI am very satisfied with the results.nCar now runs very quietly. Because I was curious when the car was on the dock I could look and take several pictures. They took the time to explain my stupid questions. I was glad they had time, other workshops could start several weeks later.nI now have good information about the status of my car.
