I had the pleasure of dining at this incredible restaurant last night, and it was far more than just a meal – it was an unforgettable experience. The food was beyond delicious; I had the wild boar and deer, and both were prepared in a way that left me speechless. The flavors were extraordinary, and it’s clear that Tim has a true talent for crafting unique, flavorful dishes. The dessert – a pumpkin pie – was the perfect ending to a perfect meal.nnThe service was outstanding from the moment we walked in. Tim and Mat made us feel right at home, offering exceptional hospitality. They treated us to a variety of local craft drinks, including gin, mead, and vodka, all from nearby producers, which added a special touch to the evening.nnWe spent hours chatting with Tim, Mat, and their friend Christopher. They made us feel like we were among old friends. The medieval ambiance, with every detail carefully thought out, was incredible. Not just the atmosphere but even the cups and cutlery were styled in medieval fashion, adding to the authenticity and charm of the place.nnThis was more than just dinner – it was a truly memorable experience shared with great people. For sure, we will be back when we visit Lidköping again. I wish you Tim and Mat all the best with the restaurant, and I’m sure you will succeed because everything about Midgård is amazing. Absolutely wonderful experience at Midgård. Had an amazing dinner and dessert and got to chat to the owner about the ideas behind the place.nA crazy good mix og rustic cooking and modern fine dining techniques and skills.nThe French style potatoes were to die for, and the cheesecake was beautiful.nThe staff are very welcoming and create a relaxed and fun atmosphere in the small restaurant for adults and children alike. Very much recommend a visit if you are nearby!

Don’t walk, run to this place! the chef of this restaurant has also built the furniture and decor. A humble size place with medieval theme and great food. We had a deer - soft meat, and some honey beer. Creative idea that brings you to the Middle Ages
Excellent restaurant with flavorful food. Mats, the owner, was very friendly and an absolute pleasure to talk with. The decor is very fun and there are props you can take photos with. This is truly a hidden gem tucked away in this small city. I recommend anyone passing through to stop in for a tasty meal.
