Don’t trust blindly on what the people sitting at desk tell you to do. I was there to apply for a permit that I knew I could apply to but the guy there told me I couldn’t do that. He gave me a different form to fill out which I got a rejection on. Thankfully I trusted myself and had applied the other permit the day after which I got a yes on. Do your own research before going there. It is better to ask your questions via there mail.
The Way you are going in and never comes back when you Realize you are not in your home country and you have across all the sea and oceans and you in Europe's lands of province specially in Scandinavia Country of Sweden the land with rich history The Land of Vikings And your English And Knowledge not Useful any more the time is become to Enter the land of Cold weather and Ice : Sweden of Europe . ‍
If you're a non-EU foreigner depending on this sorry excuse for a government agency, do your self a favor and start planning your life in any other country.nnHorrendeus waiting times to residence permit decisions 15-18 months, not allowed to leave Sweden while you wait.
Migrationsverket is a place where you can apply for permit extension or visa extension and other migration related services in Sweden for people from other countries. There is a reception section where you can clarify immigration related doubts. The reception section was crowded during my visit. So you have to stand in queue.nnWe went for taking biometrics here. The process was done within 10 minutes. For biometrics you should report at the alloted time by registering the booking reference in the desk adjacent to reception desk. The staff and the police was polite and they do respond to our queries in good way.nnOnly thing is few staffs were fluent in English. Most of the people can understand but not in precise. But you can have your work done.
Never trust these guys. When you go in to ask some information, they are not bold enough to say 'I dont know' when they dont know exactly something. And, you follow their words, you end up leaving the country in middle of your first found job, home and tranquility.
