5 stars Breakfast: everything you will desire, you will find here. The coffee is good too, approved by an Italian. The espresso is very good. The coffee cream is good.nThe breakfast is always filled all the time, and nothing is missing. The staff is very kind. The breakfast was available until 9 am, but they kept it a little longer for the latest tired guests, until 9:30. Very, very good.nn4 Stars The only downside: the room 312 has a view on the backside = on the garbage! They could hide it a little bit better. nnThe room is very nice with a medium-hard bed. Perfect 2 soft pillows too soft, but ok if you use both. The bathroom is renovated and very spacious with dimmed lights. The room was well ventilated and it feels like a home. With green tea with cinnamon typical Swedish tea and milk, 2 bottles of sparkling water included in the room. It's very nice to have and relaxing. A little fridge is also in the room. It's empty, but it's cold and I can store my water bottles too. A sweet sleep kit with earplugs and a sleeping mask was a nice touch. nThis is my favorite hotel. The check out is at 12 am, very good, plenty of time to take a shower. nnThe parking lot is big and nearby the hotel, and it's included. Very nice and quiet place. The hotel is in front of the train station. Very well placed. From the motorway, it's about 6 minutes of driving only. A lot of fast food on the way to the hotel is a good point. Even fast charging, 150 kW, beside the fast food is very good for this very nice little town called Mjölby, 2 and a half hours of driving from the south of Stockholm. I will stay here again. The price was fair, 1500 Swedish krona, approximately 134 EUR or 157 American dollars.nnIt's worth it!!
My partner and I would like to thank Stadshotellet for a fantastic stay that exceeded our expectations. All the staff at the hotel incredibly nice and helpful! Evening buffet and breakfast really have everything you could wish for! The room was clean and cozy. We will definitely be back :

Massive improvement since new owner took over few year before Pandemic, great experience in every aspect from check-in to check-out.nfriendly and helpfull staff, perfect location if you arrive by train or bus. Large free car park beside the hotel.
Wonderful dinner buffet with an affordable price. Good service at the reception. The breakfast was good as well, though the bacon wasn't fried till crispy. The rooms are quite basic and some of them are quite far away. All the doors are alarmed then so you get to go around quite a bit to get to your car. There were 8xType2 car chargers though not advertised at all, Monta app. The hotel is opposite to the train station which can be good if you use the train, but the trains kept me awake.
