The view is breathtaking, you'll be amazed. Even walking here, you pass through very cool streets. Taking photos against the backdrop of the view and watching the city is really enjoyable. It's generally a crowded place, and there's a higher viewing area a little further on, you should go there too.

Monteliusvägen is widely considered the ultimate sunset spot in Stockholm, offering a breathtaking 500-meter walking path with panoramic views of the city skyline.nnSince I visited Stockholm in mid-June, the sun set exceptionally late—at around 10:00 pm. As we visited on a weekday, it was not crowded at all. We arrived around 20 minutes earlier to catch the best photography lighting as the sun dipped.nnWe enjoyed the scenic views of Lake Mälaren, Riddarfjärden Bay, Gamla Stan Old Town, Riddarholmen, and Stockholm City Hall glowing in the golden hour light.nnThis spot is easily accessible via a short walk from the Mariatorget or Slussen metro stations, and it runs parallel to Bastugatan.nnYou will also experience a profound sense of peace, wonder, and emotional grounding while witnessing such an amazing sunset in Stockholm.
