I could be a great idea to inform people when booking your hotel via telephone that you have no parking spaces left . Not a good start to your stay after driving 8 hours to start moving vehicles and installing parking apps . For 1600 skr per night you would expect a parking space . I have stayed at other hotels in Mora and never had a problem with parking. Your reception staff need to find another job , very shabby welcome, with no information given ,just an urgent need to pay the bill straight away . I would recommend finding a better less pretentious place .
During our holiday we spend two nights here. Can't complain about anything. Facility's, the rooms, and breakfast was great. Especially for the price of a room. It even includes use of the SPA. I'm gonna remember Mora Hotel for future stays. Kind regards!
Lovely hotel, we had an amazing stay. Nicely situated in the town Mora, which is on a good distance from the ferry in Gothenborg, so we stayed overnight to travel further North. Great rooms, with good beds and nice bathroom. Breakfast was crowded but we could still choose what we like with some Swedish additions. Didn't use the Spa, so we have to come back to check that out ;-
This is a review of the lunch served at the restaurant. The menu says that a soup is included. However, when we got there tired from driving from the mountains, we were told that no soup was included in the weekend lunch. There was no sallad bar either. We got a bare risotto dish which was all right but nothing else. We intended to eat at Moskogen restaurant in Leksand, which is incomparably better, but the restaurant closes at 3:00 PM, so we had no time. I do not recommend lunch at this place. I will not come back. The price of a mediocre lunch without a drink is SEK 155, which is way too much.
In general, hard to connect to a 4 star hotel. There is no international TV program, the breakfast is cheap, no fresh juice, limited options. No coffee in the room, basically nothing, the bed is too high, not friendly to small kids.
