This is a great hotel to stay in Stockholm.nThe staff is very friendly and hospitable.nThe room was clean and correct size for staying a few nights.nThe only issue we found is that the bed was very soft.nOne of the best things about this hotel is the fact that you have the tram in front of the hotel. So it takes 15 minutes to get to the city centre.nOne stop of the tram and then change to metro.nThis hotel is very convenient and compared to the price of other many hotels in the city we find it very convenient.nThere is a supermarket next to the hotel. It closes at 22h.nIn the morning they offer complimentary coffee and tea at the lobby.nGreat choice for Stockholm!
We stayed at Motel L in Stockholm from August 29th to August 31st and had a really great experience!nnAlthough the hotel is a little outside the city center, the location is excellent, with a tram station right in front of the hotel. It made getting to Central Stockholm and Gamla Stan very easy and convenient.nnThe rooms were incredibly spacious compared with all the other hotels we stayed at during our Europe trip. We stayed in a family room with one bed and a sofa bed. The hotel thoughtfully provided mattress toppers for both, which was a nice touch. My only suggestion would be to offer an option for family rooms with two actual beds, as the sofa bed was still slightly uncomfortable to sleep on for several nights.nnThe bathroom was also surprisingly spacious, which we really appreciated.nnAnother great perk was the complimentary breakfast when booking directly with the hotel. There was a good selection of options for vegetarians, so we were very happy with the breakfast. They also offer complimentary coffee and tea in the lobby until 4 PM, which was a nice touch. There’s a supermarket right next door as well, which was extremely convenient for grabbing basic food, snacks, and water.nnOverall, I would definitely come back and stay at Motel L. The value for money is hard to beat, especially compared with some of the older and more expensive hotels closer to Gamla Stan and the city center.nnOne small suggestion for management: it would be wonderful if you could extend the complimentary coffee and tea hours in the lobby. After returning from a long day of sightseeing, having a cup of coffee in the evening would have been the perfect way to end the day!nnEverything else was fabulous, and we really enjoyed our stay. Highly recommend Motel L for anyone visiting Stockholm!
Nice and clean rooms. Big plus for free coffee and water at the reception 24/7. Friendly staff. Easy access to the rest of the city. Walkable distance to Södermalm, nearby caffes and restaurants. Close proximity to Globen. Calm neighbourhood. The only thing I would change is the carpets in the room that are not the most comfortable and catch a lot of dust.
Really pleased by this property! Our room was very spacious, clean and incredibly quiet! The location was perfect since we had a grocery store and pharmacy next door and the metro line was right outside the door! You can’t beat that! We will easily stay here again!! Highly recommend!!!
Wonderful hotel!nnI have stayed here several times and have been impressed each time.nnAffordable, clean, good service, and conveniently located next to transit which will take you to downtown Stockholm quickly.nnThere is nothing not to like!
