Nacka sjukhus is primarily a hospital with compulsory psychiatric care. There are general psychiatric care wards, but also departments that primarily treats patients suffering different forms of psychosis and bipolar disorder.
I was at Nacka Hospital for the first time with my child. And he had his tonsils removed.nIt is nice, clean place. Personal was very nice with my child all the time we were there.nI was able to be with my child all the time. And it was comfortable. Real professionals working there = At least in the kids surgery part.
Waited three hours just get painkillers for my symptoms. I’m spitting blood, can’t breathe properly, my tonsils horribly swollen. Swedish healthcare is the worst I’ve ever experienced.
Writing this from the hospital, there is no real emergency room, very limited resources outside of regular working hours I have no idea why they call it Akuten and it’s open 24h, they don’t even have an X-ray machine or ultrassound. Was told to go to another hospital in the city for emergency, which is kilometers away and if you’re in pain and have no car that’s your problem anyway. They just look at you and shrug and tell you they can’t do much. If you insist in being checked they will do the least possible like you’re just bothering them.
Worst hospital I've ever been in. Utter lack of empathy and professionalism. I've been to better hospitals in undeveloped countries. I wish I had read reviews before wasting my time and money here.
