Naturarvet was founded in 2004 under the name "A click for the forest" and works to preserve the last Swedish old-growth forests by buying forest land with high conservation value and preserve it forever. Old-growth forests are vital habitats for 50% of Sweden's threatened plants and animals. It is not enough to preserve small plots of fragmented old-growth forest.
