Naturum Vattenriket is close to Kristianstad C station and the wooden building is stunning. Free entry, helpful staff, and great birdwatching with telescopes. Kids loved exploring different bird eggs and learning about nature.nThe mini display at the entrance is beautiful, plus there’s a café and clean washrooms. Windy in spring, but still a great visit—definitely coming back in summer!
Very interesting and calm place. you can learn about surrounding nature especially birds. Also very kind staff!
Nice biosphere to learn different birds, fishes. Plenty of parking space and walkable distance to Tivoli park.
Another excellent naturrum in Sweden. It shared considerable information about fishes found in the areariver, lake. It is also one of the places with good birdwatching opportunities. One of the staff members, Sussie, explained with enthusiasm about the cranes that visit the vattenriket area between mid-April and mid-May. Their changing display of fishes found in the area is an easy way to impart information.nThe restaurant on the second level is value for money, also the view is nice.nThe Opteryx experience is exciting for the kids, not much for the adults.nThere are two short hiking trails in the area.nOverall, I highly recommend it.
This is a small-scale, cool , interactive natural-museum kind of structure. I love how it encourages children and adults to research their surroundings. There are examples of eggs of various local birds, models of the birds, local plant examples, microscopes with samples of bones, plants, etc...it is really an interesting and fun way to explore local fauna and flora.
