About

New Jerusalem International Church, Örebro is a church for all nations with a non denominational root. It is a member of the Evangeliska frikyrkan (EFK).

Story

What we believe in

-We believe the inspired word of God is the Bible, it never fails and higher than our thoughts, conscience and reason and a necessary tool for conduct and doctrine (2 Tim 3:16 ; 1Thes 2:13 ; 2 Peter 1: 21)

- We believe in one God, but in manifestation as three Persons: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, and we believe according to scriptures that they are equal (Deut 6:4 ; Phil 2: 6)

- We believe in water baptism by immersion as a commandment from our Lord, and a Christian's identification with Christ in His death, burial and resurrection (Rom 6:4 ; Col 2: 12 ; Acts 8: 36-39 ; Matt 28: 19)

- We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit and fire as a gift from God and a promise to the believers after Christ departed to Heaven, sitted at the right hand of God the Father. We believe also in the initial evidence of speaking in tongues as the Holy Spirit gives utterance (Acts 2: 38-39 ; Acts 19: 1-7 ; John 14: 16-17 ; Matt 3:11)

- We believe in sanctification and it is progressive work of grace and it starts at the time of the new birth and it ends only when Christ shall return in His glory (2 Cor 3:18 ; Heb 12:14 ; 2 Peter 3:18 ; 1 Cor 1: 30 ; Phil 3: 12-14)

- We believe in physical healing of all diseases and it is made possible by the prayer of faith and by the laying on of hands and it is a gift from the death and resurrection of our saviour Jesus Christ (atonement) (James 5: 14-15 ; Mark 16: 18 ; Is 53: 4-5 ; Matt 8: 17 ; 1 Peter 2: 24)

- We believe in a new heaven, a new earth and the holy city New Jerusalem where the righteous shall dwell as a promise from God (2 Peter 3: 13 ; Rev 21:1-2)
