Reviews
For anybody reading these reviews, these reviews are a bit biased. Some of these reviews are written by students, that, you may understand have an incentive to give a review. Plus, it's unlike a restaurant and the only people reviewing would be those that have an incentive to say something; that is to say, something bad.nnAs a student myself, I would say that the school performs very well and it is a much better environment than any of my previous schools. The primary focus of the school and it's product so to say is their C1 consequence system; if you break a rule you get a C1, 3 C1's and it's 30 minutes of detention. People tend to be quieter and there is much less ruckus in class time.nnAdditionally, the school has, for the most part, really good teachersas teachers, there's literally a PhD Language teacher from Oxford; bit strict and unreasonable with the C1's sometimes, but I really want him back as my teacher and I'm friends with many of the teachers.nnAs for the complaints about the ruined wall and locker room, it is unfortunately true. Some people were running near the stairwell and slammed into the wall. Still not fixed after like a year, and, funny story, they just covered it with a big banner with the school rules. And for the locker room, as the rumour goes, two people were playing football, and somehow they managed to smash up the roof-tiling and several benches. Like, how is that even possible with a football? Don't know. Thankfully they hired some people and it was fixed within a week.nnAlso, the thing with the shooter drill? Yeah it was fun. Bit of a joke review thereI hope so at least, it does seem like it could be a bit traumatic?, a couple classes, including mine, had a drill in PE in case somebody with a gun or knife entered the school. Basically, alarm on; if in class, lock the doors, and hide. If outside, run as fast and far as you can, spread out, and hide, stay still, until the police can come and it is safe. Some people were literally frolicking down the hill, like, do you want to hypothetically die?
The Best one can get in Stockholm at least it was when they got started. Nowadays a total DO NOT RECOMMEND! …if you care about your child.
My child needs therapy after the gruesome and barbaric school shooter drill, I hope to be speaking to principal in due time to resolve the payments >:
The American approach, abandoning what makes the swedish education system good. They only go up to grade 7, will go to grade 8 next year. And badly performing students are utterly ignored and shunned
Good school, Good food, good teachers.
