This is the best hidden gem in the world!nFood, service, rooms, atmosphere…there is not a single thing about this place that isn’t absolute top notch!nAnd if you are lucky and manage to get here during one of the concert nights you will find out why Klippan is the cradle of the Swedish music scene! Better place doesn’t exist!

Extremely picturesque and quirky, just eccentric enough without losing in style. The building has a rich 100+ year history, which is present in every nook and cranny. Rooms are newly renovated and comfortable. Service is friendly and personal, in the traditional, local manner. The restaurant is open some time into the late afternoon but closed nighttime. This is good for keeping the peace and quiet but less good if you arrive late and want to eat something. However, they can put some food from the menu in the fridge for you to heat up later there is a kitchen for guests to use. Personally I ordered a huge piece of food pie which came with a salad and dressing; very affordable! Breakfast is ready made, neatly presented and available in the same fridge to be had in a lovely dining room. My room had a shared bathroom, which is a little drawback but it is quite large and also newly renovated to high standards no bathtub though, for obvious reasons. At least one room is pet friendly which always awards one extra star from me. I would definitely come to stay here again!

Stayed there from 14-15 October with my GF after spending the day hiking in Söderåsens National Park. The owners was there to check us in when we arrived and showed us around and tell us about where to go in the city. They were very helpful. The room was really great and comfy.

This place is one of a kind. It is the host of all sorts of events like conserts or lunch servings. The walls are covered with rock memorabilia and posters from old gigs while still having a real clean feeling. The food has been great every time I have visited. The staff is great, very friendly and attentive. The toilets are clean and well kept. All in all it makes me keep wanting to come back for more.

It is always a pleasure to have Dagens lunch here. Everything is fresh and tasteful. Personnel is always smiling.
