Quality beer with a fresh perspective. I enjoyed this place for its excellent beer selection and unique atmosphere. It’s housed in an old church that’s been converted into a bar a one of a kind experience I hadn’t had before. There’s plenty of space, whether you’re visiting solo or with a group, making it a great spot for any kind of outing. You can pick up one of their available group games and play along some beers.nnThe bar also offers food and to my surprise the burgers were really good. I also loved the fries which you could order as extra.
Outstanding beer from swedens most infamous. Friendly staff, cosy fitout, limited access to merchandise options, beer is excellent of course however the food is grossly over seasoned they really need to get in control of that. Maybe the salt and pepper shaker is broken but all meals tonight are the most over seasoned food items I’ve eaten out this year. Honestly I cannot believe someone would dump this much salt onto their burgers so consistently.nnEdit for clarity: Beer is a 5, Food is 4 star, burgers are 2 star max
Food and burgers were good! Nice atmosphere , cosy inside! They have there own soda made, music really good.
I guess you could say that this is a cultural experience from multiple points of view. Quality beer and one of the first in the craft scene outside the US. That alone is worth the visit. Secondly, it's housed in an old church that's been converted into a bar. Don't know if there are any other places like this anywhere.nnThe whole neighborhood is nice, bringing lots of good vibes. Worth the visit.
Omnipollos kyrka is a former missionary church in Sundbyberg.nThe nave—the central longitudinal part of the church in Swedish långhus / mittskepp—now houses the brewhouse.nThe bar was moved up to the läktare gallery, [ˈlɛkːtarɛ].nWhen Omnipollo moved in, there was still an orgel organ, [ˈɔrːjɛl] in the corner—and it’s still there.
