Beautiful historic castle in the heart of the city. Great place to explore and take photos. The castle itself is splendid both inside and outside, also it's surrounded by scenic views. A must-see in Örebro.

One of the best parts is that you can walk freely into the castle courtyard area, which houses a cafe and restaurant—perfect for grabbing a coffee or a meal while soaking in the historic atmosphere
This was quite fun for the whole family! Prepare to spend more than a couple of hours here. There is a lot to see and you will want to take your time. We stopped in on a longer journey and wished we had more time. They provide a puzzle hunt for the kids. The English translation version didn't translate well, so we had a hard time figuring it out. Lunch in the cafe was very nice as well. Fresh and healthy options and very good service.
A really nice castle with a relaxing atmosphere. Lots of ducks whose heads look blue in the sunlight, & plenty of spots to sit and enjoy the view.
The castle is beautiful and I like the surrounding small islands. Exhibition wise its not the best but not bad either, I think its nice that there is information about the castle’s history with some fun facts. We saw the witch exhibition as well which was very well done even tho it was not always based on facts. It had a nice atmosphere!
