Beautiful building.nNy the biggest, but more than enough shops inside, with some delicious food choices.nCheese, caviar, meat, sweets and a lot more options.nGreat place to fill up a charcuteri board.nIt also have eating places inside.nDidnt try any, thats for another visit.
This food hall has a pretty decent variety of restaurants. They have a lot of seafood options. The only downside is that they do not have common area tables/seats, so if you want to eat inside the hall, you can only sit at the tables which are available at each individual restaurant. It does make it a little difficult if you come in a group but different people in your group want to eat different things. We ended up ordering food to go from different restaurants, and then we walked to a nearby park to eat.
Recommend for lunch.nWhat an amazing place. A hall full of artisans of food. Cheeses galore, fresh fruit, vegetables, fish and meats. The stalls are unique and perhaps one could compare to other great food emporiums in European capital cities. The circumference is made up of restaurants with reasonably priced, delicious food. We had lunch here and was one of the better meals of our trip.
The fanciest of all the food halls in Stockholm. You can get the same food as takeaway or eat in lower priced for takeaway and warm up at home. Each restaurant has its own menu and you order there and sit there. Versus each person getting food where they want and everyone eating in a common area. This can be tricky if both people want different food types. One of us had the Swedish meatballs and it was really good.
Östermalms Food Hall Östermalms SaluhallnnI visited this historic food hall as a tourist and found it interesting to explore. Some stalls sell fresh products, while others have small dining areas where you can sit and eat. The place has a nice mix of local food and friendly service. It’s a beautiful and well-kept building with a long history since 1888. Worth a visit if you enjoy food and local culture.
