A small municipality struggling under the given conditions, between the sea and the forests in northeastern Uppland. Here are collected the decisions and papers that govern things like schools, roads and the quiet but important rhythm of the municipality's everyday life.nnInside the building, you can notice the typical mix of corridors, meeting rooms and offices where the municipality's work proceeds at a leisurely pace. It may not be a place that arouses great emotions in passers-by, but for the residents it functions as an obvious point in the local landscape.nnIn this way, the municipal building appears to be a fairly faithful reflection of the municipality itself: unpretentious, persistent and focused on making things work, even when resources are not always the greatest.
