Östra Tommarps kyrka

Old, historic church with beautifully manicured vegetation surrounding old gravestones. The church is surrounded by farmers fields. It’s a quiet place, a place to escape from the world and reflect. The grounds are well-kept and spotless. The dead would be very happy.

A relatively new church that as late as the middle of the 19th century replaced the old St. Mary's Church, which has probably been here since the 12th century. Inside the armory is a baptismal font, strangely enough cast in colored brick, which is not common since most older baptismal fonts are carved in stone. The cemetery surrounding the church is a well-kept and peaceful place that has a number of old and beautiful cultural tombstones to boast about. A place of peace well worth a visit... or several.

Beautiful church in the small community of Skåne. Genuinely Skåne with a beautiful altarpiece. Pulpit unusually placed on the right side. Meager selection of other traditional paintings.
