I liked it. A nice looking place and the sushi looks really good.nOther reviews say there are mixups understanding orders, I think they have solved this with the ordering computer at the front. Now customers just need to know Swedish >
Food, it's great. For the people that don't eat fish they have avocado variants. Free Miso Soup :vnnService is good, you just walk in and order on the menu tablet like on a McDonalds.nnThe atmosphere is grand, they have giant wall paintings of asian culture and almost everything is covered in wood. Making it feel like a whole new place when you walk in.
Nice airy spaces with good ventilation. Staff didn't smile but were polite and helpful. Take your order to the bar and they bring it out to you. I went at lunchtime on a sunday so no lunch menu but the prices for what you get are incredibly good. The food is absolutely beautiful and individual pieces actually have their own taste which is unusual. The dipping sauce which came with the dumplings was out of this world. The salmon was very carefully cooked in a light tempura batter and was still moist inside. The kimchi salad and japanese mayonnaise kept me coming back for more. I hope the standards stay this high because a lot of restaurants start out strong then drop standards later. Pictured are the Bento box, chicken gyoza dumplings and small Nigiri sushi.nnEdit: have just been for the second time. My daughter took ill after ordering migraine so we decided to pack it into takeaway boxes and go home. Staff very helpful and gave us different boxes based on the foods we were transporting so it all still looked plate-perfect when we ate it later. This time we had gyoza and tempura maki. As before absolutely wonderful.nnReview edit: lost a star because the place seems to never be cleaned. Dirty utensils and sauce bottles. Massive overuse of chilli mayonnaise on sushi.
Party of four people three of which are Japanese.nFood is nice and they have made an effort to give value.nThe Ramen - noodles were done for too long so very soft, ginger, pickles Takwan are not part of ramen and it’s Tonkotsu not Tonkatsu!nKarage should be Karaage was not Japanese style, just breaded chicken.nBimbap was ok quite salty.
omg this place! the food itself is like a 4.5, but the 100% consistency for returning guests is astonishing, the chefs never have a bad day! I've eaten in and taken out maybe 30 times, ALWAYS the same high quality. Did I mention the wait has never been over 5 min. Never. Love this place.
