Super location!! The owners are friendly and helpful. The rooms are very clean and charming. It's a really nice building which still holds the feeling of the old station. Everything you need is available and it's next to a bike/ hike track, so you can directly go for a walk, supermarkets and a beautiful waterfall. I would really recommend the place for a real Swedish vacation!
The new owners are helpful, friendly and working hard with improvements. Clean apartment with all amentities, and a very comfortable bed. More reasonable if you bring your own linens. This location is in the middle between the town centre and the historic museum park area of the town. I wish them every success with their new venture!
Eine wundervolle Unterkunft! Seit Jahren kommen wir mehrmals pro Jahr nach Munkfors, und am liebsten in den alten Bahnhof! Nicht nur das Gastgeberpaar ist freundlich, zuvorkommend und stets hilfsbereit, auch sind beide Wohnungen charmant und heimelig eingerichtet. Es ist immer sauber, und für eine Woche ist alles vorhanden, was man braucht. Ganz lieben Dank euch, bis zum nächsten Mal! :
We stayed at the Ticketkantoor from January 15 to 24, 2025, and had a wonderful time. The Ticketkantoor is very spacious with a warm atmosphere. The kitchen is well-equipped with appliances and crockery, and the bedroom has two good beds. We will definitely come back here again, partly due to the warm welcome from Alex and Jessie.
Perfect in the summer, cold in the winter, had to sleep with a hat and sweater
