The school also favors students, one person in one class was allowed to go on 3 school trips, one was to Spain and the person has never studied Spanish, at the same time another student in the same class is not allowed to go anywhere and was not allowed to go to Spain on the trip despite having studied all the Spanish that can be studied in high school. The school justified it as those students were chosen as they had done a lot for the school, they were all ambassadors. The trip would not go to those chosen by the school as ambassadors, but to those who actually deserved it. For example, have good grades and good attendance and who could justify why they should be allowed to go, this was stated in the application they filled in. Instead, students are sent who have already had time off during the school year and have also been allowed to go on previous student trips. Instead of those who didn't actually get to go on any trip and have good attendance and good grades. The student was invited to apply by the mentor and the director of studies, who chose who was allowed to go there. A trip to Stockholm was promised for EVERYONE who chose the community program, everyone except those who chose community behavior got to go. The school also said that you would be allowed to choose a focus on sports, for example to be in the arena or gym, that also changed once you started at school and you were not allowed to choose. Development talks must be offered every semester, during the autumn semester 2023 no development talks were given in my class. Regarding the grades, you don't get to know at all where you stand in many subjects until the grades are set. Then sometimes they don't give the grade you were promised, was supposed to get an A in Swedish in 2nd year, then got a C. The mentor must keep a certain amount of contact with the student, when I talked to my mentor it was when I wondered something, nothing else. You do your best but are met by the fact that the school almost has something against you. They can't plan either, according to the exams. It has happened that you have 4 important tests in one week, then the same thing the following week. There are very good teachers here, for example Axel, Erik, Jenny, Rebecca, Hasse and Hannah. My daughter goes to this school and loves it :-nnReally feel she did the right thing when she chose the Artist. She has long travel days but absolutely worth it for the education she receives there.
