Väldigt bra om man har ett Amex kort och vill äta något gott på Arlanda. Synd att dom kommer att stänga i mitten på mars.Mat: 5/5
Arrived just after breakfast. Lunch was being served at 10am. Very courteous staff, clean and bright restaurant. Food was wonderful. Had a veal burger with fresh cranberry’s and mashed potatoes. Very tasty and fresh. Finished off with a delicious coffee and some locally made butter biscuits. Overall it was a GREAT experience I must say. Can’t understand other folks wining about the speed… It’s a restaurant where food gets cooked and prepared from scratch. It’s NOT a fast food place. Go to McDonald’s instead.
Reached at 950 AM, Sunday morning, access thru AMEX Plat. The hostess was very nice, warm and mentioned that breakfast ends in 10 minutes and as such we can order either or. She was running the show and subbing as the server, barista and hostess. It would have been a 5* experience, had there been a helping hand for her. Food, beverage, everything came promptly. Definitely worth the visit, just need some added patience. 5/5 for hostess. PS: IF you're a vegetarian, you got a bun and some cheese, that's about it.
Bästa restaurangen på Arlanda både vad det gäller kvalitet, smak och prisvärdhet. Riktigt synd att de behöver stänga restaurangen då det bara finns överprisatta halvfabrikat att välja på hos de andra restaurangerna och caféerna.
The food is ala-carte from the menu, and it's absolutely delicious. However, it's worth noting that the lounge itself is more of a restaurant, and may not be the most comfortable spot for a long layover. Additionally, if you're short on time, it may take a while for your food to arrive. Despite these minor drawbacks, I still highly recommend Pontus in the Air Lounge for anyone looking for a high-quality dining experience at the airport.
I must say food was delicious and service very kind...just like at some good restaurant but just not sure this restaurant concept where everything takes time is fitting for an airport launge where you usually have only limited time before a flight...i think i prefer standard "serve yourself" buffet style...but food was really so tasty and well done i can t give less then 5*:
I was looking forward to the AMEX/Pontus Lounge/Restaurant at Arlanda as it’s a relatively small airport without too many options. American Express usually really only puts their name/branding behind quite thoughtful, exclusive experiences like AMEX Fan Lounges at top sporting events or festivals so I hoped this would be the same. Unfortunately, I was quite underwhelmed. The “lounge” is open to Platinum and Centurion cardholders - both of which come with fees in the hundreds to thousands of dollars range. When you sign up for these types of cards, you expect the benefits and service that you do receive to be top notch. Pontus was just a really strange experience and pales in comparison to any of AMEX’s Flagship Centurion Lounges. The lounge is quite tiny with very limited seating and has incredibly limited gratis food options. Instead, it operates as more of an exclusive brasserie restaurant and while the food was really good quality probably the best in Arlanda, you’re basically being rewarded for your AMEX status with the ability to sit in a tiny lounge or get a seat at a restaurant and pay a decently expensive price for curated meals. Staff were also unfortunately quite curt and dismissive to multiple guests while I was there. Not really how this is advertised online or even when you receive the “menu” at Pontus. I visited the two priority pass lounges and found them much more spacious with much better food options. If you're looking for more space with more typical lounge food options I'd recommend these instead. If you're looking to pay for a solid meal, Pontus would be the best option. Honestly, the best perk/value of the AMEX/Pontus/Arlanda partnership is that is you have a Platinum/Centurion card you’re eligible for fast track security!
An excellent and luxurious restaurant with good menu, good food and wine. Absolutely top class with service. Nice interior and cozy lighting. Very clean and tidy. I felt safe and well taken care of. Feel comfortable to recommend it to everyone.
Came to this restaurant before a flight because Arlanda's website said there was 1 vegan option: cauliflower with hummus and sambal oelek. I ordered it. What eventually appeared in front of me was an appetizer-sized portion of 4-5 pieces of cauliflower pictured, the dish is not a bowl, just a plate. Although tasty, this was a complete disappointment; no grown human can possibly eat this "main" course and feel satisfied. This food had no protein and no carbohydrates either. I complained to the waiter and they agreed to give me vegan potatoes free of charge. He proceeded to give me a bowl of unseasoned boiled potatoes with a spoonful of herbs. I asked him for some seasoning, sauce, SOMEthing. I was given 3 bowls of oil, vinegar and hummus. I cracked some salt and pepper on them myself. All in all, this dish cost over 22€ for a few pieces of cauliflower and boiled potatoes. In addition, when coming in, every table in the restaurant had dirty cutlery and dishes from previous customers. By the time we finished our food, the tables were still not cleared. This restaurant is trying to cut corners wherever possible and doesn't care about customer satisfaction whatsoever.
We decided to go here as we had a long layover and wanted a good meal. We waited a good 4-5 mins in reception before my husband went and fetched the waitress who was clearing tables in an empty restaurant. To ge be fair to her, there had obviously been a busy service before and she seemed to be on her own. We let her know we weren’t in a hurry and had fabulous starters, the tacos were the best thing by far. Main course, cod tempura, is essentially fish and chips for British people. The service never got any better sadly despite it not be being busy. We had to remind her to bring water. We asked our phones to be charged and had to remind the waiter to return them after they asked. For almost £200, this was an indulgent luxury, but we probably could have spent the money better
