Great public art statute. I said to my partner - Poseidon is one ugly dude, and she said “ and he has a small….” A local guide overheard the conversation and said the local urban legend is the artist designed it that way but if you look at it from the stairs to the left, the fish becomes the phallus… and all that comes forth from it. Picture attached to you decide what is true, but it was a fun afternoon of viewing and speculation of perception vs reality
Had a wonderful time at this heritage property. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was comfortable with a cozy bed. Sufficient for a single traveller. Lighting in the room could be better.nnBreakfast was healthy and had options.nnThe location was superb with main shopping district close, Haga and the Haga Church very close, and the Gothenburg university about 700 mtrs away. Lovely park at the front and street lined with old beautiful apartments. Highly recommend.
Worth watching place. You can easily reach out to this location by walk or cycle. The great statue with beautiful fountain welcomes you a lot to enjoy the day. Perfect for the family to spend sometime with their kids. If you are using Hop on hop off bus service you can get down here .
