Food was mid ngl. It's eatable but i have tasted better. Very calm restaurant by the river in Stromstad.

Primi Piatti restaurant had a great location in the center of Strømstad and advertised serving Italian-inspired dishes. The premises seemed somewhat tired and the interior was a mixture of a Swedish cafeteria and an American diner.nnThe menu appeared boring and consisted of a selection of pasta and pizza dishes. The prices were slightly higher than similar places in Strømstad.nnWe chose to order a pizza with ham and a pasta carbonara. The food was served after a short time and was nicely presented. However, the food tasted very bad and seemed to be prefabricated. The bacon in the carbonara was stringy, undercooked and tasted sour.nnThe service was non-existent and the employees seemed unengaged.nnOverall, the experience was a disaster that I wouldn't wish on anyone.

Lamb was drier and more chewy than a shoe. The starter consisted of canned items and was completely uninspired.

I've dined here several times and the place is truly one of my favourites. The servers where really kind and the food is amazing. I had to switch to a gluten free diet a few years back and I can taste almost no differnce from the gluten version and gluten free version of the pizza. The pizza is one of the best I've had with plenty amount of cheese and a fantastic taste. Bringing children I have often experienced they give a little extra attention to the little ones.

Nice Italian food to a decent price.nI recomend the pasta my friend had pizza. Also nice though.
