Perfect stay in a very convenient location within walking distance to everything . Impressive breakfast , especially considering the price as the hotel is the budget alternative of the Strawberry / Nordic Choice chain. Good halfway point between Stockholm and Tärnaby Hemavan.
I was searching for any open hotel by the very late evening and I have found this ones with:n- fantastic night manager who found me a room with the discount !n-clean and nice room !n-also I was been offered breakfast to go without asking for - just excellent !nKeep going like that ! For sure I will visit you next time !nMarek from Poland!
After staying here four years ago and finding it rather poor even then, I thought everyone deserves a second chance. However, there won't be a third!nThe location is good, with an attached car park and spacious rooms.nYou get a room with a view of the petrol station and crossroads, so you can't really talk about the desired quiet room. The breakfast is okay, but what did you do to the cucumbers? They tasted disgusting and I regretted taking that one bite.nOne star would be too little, as the staff are very friendly. But I can't give it more than two!
The prices seems to be random. I called the hotel, got one price, called the Strawberry booking service, got another price and a third price online.nIf I decide to stay one night extra, it seems to be random which price I will get and if I am allowed to keep my gold member room upgrade.
If this was called Low Quality Hotel and cost 500kr/night I would be happy.nnBut now it cost 1350kr/night for a very average room. And you thought you could sleep there ? No no no.nnEvery 15s all night there is a slamming sound against metal coming from elevators sounding on the whole floor.nThere are 2 pillows, one is like a sack filled with plastic left overs that is not formable and tries to break your neck, the other is a small towel-like pillow giving no rest to the neck.nnWhen checking out no one even asked if the stay was ok.nnThis is the book example of a Hotel run by people who know nothing about Hotels.
