Quality Hotel View

Klev in på en söndagseftermiddag med min bror och vår systerdotter. Vi firade hennes 18-årsdag, några dagar försenat. Innan vi gick in på Emporia skulle vi ta en shot tillsammans och vi valde hoppfullt det stora hotellet precis bredvid. Vi möts av en bartender utan värme eller personlighet, det kändes som att vi avbröt henne i något mycket viktigare än de enda gästerna hon hade. Hon hällde upp våra shots, men nej nu fungerar inte kassan. Inte en blick upp mot oss, inte en ursäkt eller någon sorts kommunikation annat än ”vänta lite”. Nästan fem minuter senare, efter att ha vandrat runt i den tomma lobbyn är drycken betald och denna bedrövliga människa har gått utan ett ord. Hon hade en rolig namnskylt, under hennes namn stod det ”when life gives me lemons, I pour tequila”. Illa när namnskylten är mer minnesvärd är personen som bär den. Skäms!

My room was smelling out of the bathroom cabin really badly … no water or glass available. Or tea or coffee. But you have an ironing board… Staff at restaurant and reception pretty rude. No extra little step … food in the restaurant and breakfast are really good. Evening menu is limited but nice food.Rum: 1/5

Breakfast in the hotel has limited choices for vegetarians and coffee is sub-par. everything else was super nice, very helpful and cooperative staff. We even got to rent an umbrella for 48hrs on a rainy day . Aktiviteter i närheten: right next to Hyllie station, direct train to Copenhagen Airport. Emporio shopping mall is right in front, with huge number of eating options from Vapiano to Asian, Indian food , burgers and drinks. Hotellet saknar tydlig entre skyltning vid ankomst med bil. Fick åka något varv runt innan vi förtod att entren var via torget. Bra tysta moderna rum.Rum: 4/5

Ett relativt nybyggt och fräscht hotell där egentligen inget sticker ut något extra. Väldigt bra frukostbuffé, fräscha rum och nära till Emporia. Vi har bott här många gånger på olika slags resor och vi kommer gärna tillbaka än en gång!Rum: 4/5

Helt ok rum, relativt fräscht. Dubbelsäng var två separata sängar bredvid varandra, fanns inte annat att välja bland. Vi trodde frukosten var öppen till åtminstone kl10, men de stängde 9:30 på en fredag. De hade gym, bastu och shuffleboard i lobbyn.

Funkis för möten, bra konferensytor men tråkigt i övrigt. Ingen vidare "view" trots att den trevliga personalen i receptionen gav mig ett bättre rum. Plus för ismaskin i korridoren. Restaurangen kan man hoppa, finns säkert ngt bättre. Frukost helt ok.Rum: 3/5

It used to be a great hotel, but this time ... 1- I found hair from previous guests in the shower 2- Breakfast is starting at 7am, a bit late for European business travellers so i can't enjoy it... a pitty, because i remember it used to be very good 3- We wanted to have dinner in the restaurant, mostly empty, and have one colleague joining us and only having a drink since she already had dinner. We were told it was not possible, either all having dinner or go to the bar if not

It’s clean, it’s safe and the beds a comfy. Staff friendliness is depending on, but mostly they’re very nice. Book as early as possible, because short term bookings are rewarded with a hefty price tag.

I recently had the opportunity to stay at this Hotel and I have mixed feelings about my experience. While there were some positive aspects, there were several notable shortcomings that left me disappointed. Let's start with the room amenities. I was surprised to find that the room lacked basic amenities such as a boiler and coffee-making facilities. As a traveler who relies on a hot cup of coffee in the morning, this was a significant inconvenience. It would have been nice to have these essentials readily available in the room, as it is a standard expectation in most hotels. On a brighter note, the breakfast offered at the Hotel was quite good. There was a decent variety of options, and the quality of the food was satisfactory. The breakfast staff was attentive and friendly, which added to the positive experience. However, the price of the hotel did not match the value provided. Considering the lack of amenities in the room and the overall experience, I found the price to be unreasonably high. It's important for hotels to strike a balance between cost and quality, and unfortunately this Hotel fell short in this regard. Furthermore, I was disappointed with the lack of kindness displayed by the hotel manager. I encountered a few issues during my stay, and when I approached the manager for assistance, their attitude was indifferent and unwelcoming. This lack of empathy and professionalism dampened my overall impression of the hotel and made me feel unimportant as a guest. In conclusion, my experience at this Hotel was a mixed bag. While the breakfast was enjoyable and the staff at the restaurant were courteous, the lack of amenities in the room, the high price for what was provided, and the disappointing behavior of the hotel manager were major drawbacks. If these issues were addressed, the Hotel could significantly improve the guest experience and justify its pricing.
