Rålambshovsparken is a big park in Marieberg district in Kungsholmen, Stockholm.It is overpassed by a section of the bridge Västerbron.HistoryThe park began in 1936, designed by Erik Glemme and was one of the first parks in Stockholm, which was visualized by functionalist principles. The park is part of the park walkway Fredhällsparken - Norr Mälarstrands strandpromenad. The park has an amphitheater, built to Stockholm's 700-year anniversary in 1953, where Parkteatern performances take place during the summer. The theater holds 5,000 people. There are also several sculptures: Monument över yxman' by Eric Grate, the granite sculpture 'Domarring' by Egon Möller-Nielsen, 'Fjärilen' by Elli Hemberg and 'Färgtorn' by Lars Erik Falk.Photos
