A very nice place to start from May to June to visit Stora Alvaret directly east of the highway. Large amounts of orchids bloom here. Or why not visit the Station Linné research station just to the north, which offers nature tours, hostel accommodation, and has a café, ice cream and a small shop.
Nice rest area but no view due to slush and bushes, needs to be cleared.
