Rest area Sandbäcken

Very nice resting area with picnic tables and free toilets. We enjoyed our stay and had brunch in the sun.

A nice place to stay the night. Sometimes a bit hard to find parking with a large caravan. A bit distant from the noisy traffic, makes it ideal for a sleepover in a tent, campervan or a small caravan.nnToilets are clean but smells of previous visitors. Drinking water is available and disposal of wastewater from your caravan.nnSmall tables in good condition are available all over the place.

I love these great rest areas along the main roads. Clean and tidy with toilets, picnic tables and pleasant surroundings in a quiet place without shops, but petrol station nearby if you want to buy a sandwich or hotdog for your picnic. Such a civilised way of breaking up the journey. All free of charge. Sandbäcken is a good example

Nice view of the lake.

A very nice parking lot nestled among trees, right behind the Cycle K station. There are restrooms, tables, and benches for resting and eating. It's green everywhere, and lots of people stop to rest. There are a lot of campers and tourists, but it's okay. I highly recommend it. I personally stayed there overnight, and despite the proximity to the highway, it was quiet and pleasant.
