Ot was a very nice and cozy restaurant in Nossebro. Nice buffet, very good price and nice Swedish food with different variations. Ample parking space available

My favourite lunch restaurant in Nossebro. They provide a good straightforward lunch with a choice of meat and fish courses and of course plenty of salad! The food was always tasty. If the weather is good take advantage of the garden and have lunch overlooking the well-kept lawns and topiary, as well as the river.

Well if 5 stars is exceptional like the Savoy in London, then 3 is being way too kind. Self service and very simple basic dishes. Although the restaurant looks like a converted bungalow for old people, the location is a novelty, being near the river and out of the village centre, only a little distance from the shops, some nice/ok walks.nAlthough the food is always the key to a restaurant, I have to say it is extremely basic and now self-service, A bit below home cooked standards. as one would expect for only 105kr, it's clean and popular with the locals and workers and became a workers cafe of sorts. Many praise their fried bacon on Tuesdays, yet I was not so impressed, who uses sugar in an onion source these days and very runny too.nTheir biggest flaw, having sugar in vurtualy every dish and sauce. So if you're not worried about your weight you might like it. Too much dill on the cooked potatoes, despite it not always being right for the dish? The coffee might well be OK, yet I can only mention that the choice of tea is a simple no, some weird varieties that do not even say what they are?nIt's best to bring your own T-bag.nYet the clinical lack of atmosphere and terrible furniture leaves you thankull for the view at the back over the river.nIt felt like an annex of an old people's home and worse of all carpet that soaks up the smell of fallen food is a healthy issue!nnPlenty of parking though. 2 stars was more for the friendly staff, bufe was kept clean. A lunch cost of 105kr, although probably worth 80 kr on reflection. Yet it is the only decent place around that area.
