Ok lunch place. Not the best Indian style food place in Helsingborg but still fine. The owners seems to be Indian natives, although unclear which part of India they're from.
Friendly staff, clean and good quality foodnNot your usual gravy type curry base, plenty of onions and peppers in with my Chilli Garlic chickennIf it's not on the menu you can ask for it
The staff was super nice and professional. The menue gave a lot of options especially regarding different style curries. Food was aplenty and really tasty. I like a spicy meal and you're given the choice of hot, medium or regular. I choose a regular and that's a good place to start if you want to get in all the aromas. It's still spicy but not break out in a sweat spicy. So why just the two stars. A mango lassi that was served warm and tasted like it was some kind of powder drink mix. A big no-no as this is a place for the restaurant to shine making their own lassi. Add to that a peaswari naan that was ok but not more. No raisins and really dry. The clash of Indian food in the city makes the competition hard. There are better places in Helsingborg and even better places in Söder even. There strong spot is the different curries so far. I would love to be able to read a little more about each curry to add to the experience. Will go again I'm just not rushing back.
Like the veg dishes. Taste is different and nice. Best is you don't feel bloated after eating the main course. Best taste for Indian restaurant in helsingborg as of today
