Great family-run guest house/ hotel. We stayed in one of the apartments in the annexe, which was big with a large sofa and a small but functional kitchenette. The owners were very friendly and helpful. There is secure storage for bikes. The breakfast was reasonable. The location is very central. Stayed here when cycling the Kattegattleden and this was the cheapest place we stayed, but probably also the nicest. I would definitely recommend it.
Love this place. It’s our go to home when in Angelholm. Great staff and location. Rooms in anex are spacious with Kitchenette.
This hotel in apartment is terrible, arrived on site, and the owner is laughing because I have a big bag I have to travel with which was rude to begin with. Then they told me the room is ready. Everything is good I get there and the lights don’t work in the room, no phone so I have to go back down to the desk and ask can you put lights in the room so I can turn the switch on to see instead of using a flashlight from a cell phone which they did do. The bed as you can see from the pictures of a mattress was a small twin bed and I’m 6 foot three 250 pound man and it was a twin size for a child Which was very uncomfortable. I had to go buy clothes to keep warm from a local store has the heat in the room and the drive from windows was terrible. I believe the maximum temperature got in the room. Was 59 to 60° so I had to wear sweatpants sweatshirt T-shirt and the comforter just to stay warm overnight. Then the drain in the bathroom drains all from the shower all the way to the toilet and everything and they have a squeegee in there, so you can squeeze in the water instead of standing in it in the bathroom. And a laughing thing was the elevators at this hotel to get your luggage up three flights you put your suitcase in there you have to send that up and then you have to walk up the stairs three flights, then to get to your room as there’s not enough room for a standard roller board suitcase, and a person in the elevator . On top of it I had to make changes to my trip and called and said hey, I’m gonna need to leave early. The owner said after on the phone no problem come here and make sure you check out by 11 o’clock. I leave work drive back to the hotel pack my stuff get downstairs a check up prior to 11 he says OK I can’t give you a refund for tomorrow now because it’s less than 24 hour cancellation, but I was there before 11 check in is after 11 so that’s 24 hours so he would not refund my money but for the following day he said he would give me the money back but I have to send him my credit card information. This is a very poor excuse for a hotel. I forgot to mention the park and there is a joke as they let big trucks park. They’re very difficult for more than 4 to 5 cars so they tell you to park in the parking garage well the parking garage if you park there the garage closes from 930 at night till 7 o’clock in the morning and it’s locked and you cannot get your car out unless you call the police and have an emergency situation for them to be able to get it open. You cannot get your car out so I was late to work because of this. The previous owners were 10 times nicer, even though this is an outdated hotel, and kept up with the place , I would urge anyone ever trying to stay in and go home to stay at the best Western either the one in town or out of town. This place is a complete joke, wasted time waste of money even if the rooms were free, I would not stay there ever again feel free to contact me I would be glad to give 100% comments pictures anything you would like at my email
Riverside was sort of an experience… the check-in was a catastrophe, the owner said I booked for next month and yelled to me we are in January when we were in February nThe room was poor cleaned, bedlinens in/outside, the lights was not plugged in, and there was no plug in for one bedside light nThe owners wife ate straight from the breakfast buffet with her own spoon dipped the spoon in prawnsalad back n forthnnThe + is that the owners was friendly and accepted a dog and extra guest who stayed spontaneous with us, the breakfast buffe was generous and good, the location was very central.nI can think to come back for a stay… after all it was kind of a Swedish version of Faulty Towers
Not happy with the hotel. Accomodation in another building without elevetor for laguage. Timers for switches so we were not able to charge a phone over night. Breakfast not good. Not normal milk or oat, soya something, everything with the taste for cereals, coffee no, not recomending at all.
