Rökeriet mellan Åhus & Yngsjö

We were a group of six people for lunch outside we had reservations, so no waiting time but no staff greeted us at the door or showed us our table. We all placed our orders, a combination of starters and main courses. On the lunch menu, they had sea bass, but when I asked for the sea bass, I was informed that that sea bass is only for the dinner menu and this was even checked with a colleague who confirmed.Instead I ordered the schnitzel main course and I also placed an order for my wife, who wanted a started called Skagen. The other parts of our company placed similar combination of starters and main courses - starters for some and main courses for others.nFood was served to everyone except myself, and we all waited for my food, as this is customary in Sweden, so that we could all start eating together. After some time, my father-in-law checked where my food was and then my brother-in-law also checked and they were both told the kitchen had forgotten my order. After waiting an additional 10 minutes 20 minutes in total my order finally came and to my surprise no staff apologised for the delay/missed order. Worst of all, the table next to us received schnitzel with golden brown bread crumbs while mine was very dark brown and with an almost black sauce. When my father-in-law went to pay, as lunch was his treat, he was told that the delay was to due to the fact we had ordered a starter and main course at the same time just like everyone else in our party had ordered so the blame was put on us! And no one in staff took responsibility for the exceptionally poor level of treatment and total lack of service.nI cannot help but wonder since the other guests at the restaurant were all fair skinned, Scandinavian looking and I was the only olive skinned different looking guest that the lack of service was due to me being Swedish?

Super cozy place located between Åhus and Yngsjö. Really good food and drinks, the restaurant is located close to a wine yard and some of the swedish wines are also beeing served in the restaurant, the solaris-wine was really tastefull for beeing a swedish produced wine.

Amazing food lunch menu in particular, cozy interior, fare price. Highly recommend!

Easily one of the best fish restaurants we visited this weekend.nWe were seated outside without a reservation but the weather permitted it.nWe got the salmon and the char.nFood came quickly and the portions were more than satisfactory! Big pieces of fish, lots of greens and home sauce and extra potatoes.nWould definitely stop by when in the area.

Amazing place! The smoked shrimp and salmon were excellent and the portions were large. The service was meticulous thanks to the very welcoming and friendly waiter. The perfect place for the perfect lunch!
