Cozy atmosphere, very tasty food for a very good price and lower music volume than most pubs/bars, allowing conversation without screaming over the noise. A much more relaxing experience than most similar places. Can usually work around allergies and has a handicap toilet. Places to sit both indoors and outside. Bringing a small, quiet dog in an outing backpack was okay, even inside. You can buy takeaway, and that's even cheaper! Fantastic service!
I was quite surprised by how great the chicken tasted, as did the fries! Heard about this place for many years but never really bothered going here. But I can see now why it's so popular, based on the food that I and and how my company felt about their food as well! :
Situated very near to the Umeå University and surrounded by a nice locality. Excellent quality food. Serves a wide variety of alcoholic beverages as well. Although can be a bit pricy. They don't have a menu card in English unfortunately. They have a dart board. Well furnished interiors. A fine dine restaurant. Good music. Neat and clean environment and a pleasant atmosphere. They have eating space outside as well. Friendly receptionist. Good for university students and adults.
Local pub with a lot of different bottled beers. You'll find some really nice craft beers here. A bit under staffed during rush hours and it's not a cheap pub. In the summer time you can sit outside having your drinks. The food is OK. Rött Bar & Restaurant is close to the University so if you're close by its worth a visit.
Affordable especially for students, ask for discount high quality pub food! Very cozy and familial atmosphere. Lots of fun games and books available to borrow. Highly recommended.
