Röttle Parkering & Röttlestigen

Truly a beautiful place to take a break from driving. Plenty of space to park, clean toilets. There’s a path down to the lake and there’s a dock with some steps down into the water so you can swim. The locals also made a hiking path of 1.2 km with info about the locations, habits and the history of Röttle.

The Röttlestigen is a beautiful trail, partly through the forest or along the edge of Lake Vättern, and partly past the stream and old mill buildings.nIt's a good place to observe a variety of birds.nIt's a shame and a nuisance that the highway is very loud.

Car park with picnic benches and a toilet block also with a ramp to reach the rear toilet. From here you can easily take the paths down to the water or to the waterfall

The root trail is somewhat hilly and it is easy to trip on roots if you are not careful.nIt is a really nice round and the view is amazing.n#Naturkompaniet organized the hike I went on as part of their focus on nature and trails.
