Röttle Parkering & Röttlestigen

Truly a beautiful place to take a break from driving. Plenty of space to park, clean toilets. There’s a path down to the lake and there’s a dock with some steps down into the water so you can swim. The locals also made a hiking path of 1.2 km with info about the locations, habits and the history of Röttle.

Magical

Nice parking lot with equipped, heated and clean toilets, nice view of the lake. One star down because it's a pity that you can't park here at night. A suitable starting point for a short walk to the lake and to the nearby small but nice Röttle Vattenfall waterfall. The small village to which the parking lot belongs and through which you return to the car is also nice.

Spotlessly clean restroom in the huge parking lot.nnUnfortunately, there's hardly any shade, but it's a 24/7 restroom that's exceptionally well-maintained.

The Röttlestigen is a beautiful trail, partly through the forest or along the edge of Lake Vättern, partly alongside a stream and past old mill buildings.nnIt's a great place to observe a variety of birds.nnUnfortunately, the motorway is very noisy, which is quite bothersome.
