Update Info
I have recently registered at Årsta health center and have received very nice treatment from both nurses, doctors and physiotherapists. No problems booking an appointment and have received telephone follow-up from both doctors and physiotherapists.
Had a doctor's appointment yesterday where I was treated in an extremely insulting and unprofessional manner. I was sad of course and was then told, because I was crying, that I was probably depressed because I had such mood swings. I was also told how much extra work this was for him because I heard from me again and needed an edit in my sick leave. As if it was the patient's fault that the system with FK is complicated. I'm glad there was a student in the room otherwise I don't know if I would have dared to stand up for myself. The doctor also pointed out that exhaustion in many other cultures doesn't exist but is called something else, like it would take away my problems? Completely sick experience, have worked in healthcare for over 10 years and have never experienced anything like it.
Midwives and all the staff involved with pregnancy are fantastic. I have had a wonderful midwife Sina, she really makes you feel comfortable and heard.nHowever, I had problems with a doctor when I was on sick leave who did not take my mental health seriously. I switched to Kerstin and she was very understanding and great!
Works perfectly fine. However, it is difficult to get a phone appointment. There are sometimes long waiting times for testing. Some staff need to learn better Swedish. Overall, everyone on the staff is nice.
