Large outdoor and indoor sport facilities for soccer, hockey, ice skating and much more. There is also an indoor and outdoor gym as well as an extensive network of forest trails. There's always something to do here, both in winter and summer.
Simple traditional Swedish fun. We had no problem hiring a helmet and skates for my seven year old. Both inside and outside area. Toilets ok. Could do with a coffee shop. If you’re there with smaller kids start out inside. The tempo in the outside area can be fast.
”Sportlov” in Gothenburg. Nice place to spend a few hours. Renting skates was quick and easy. Fairly priced at around £6.00. We had a great time.
Best public ice skating rink in town
There's a small gym with lockers and showers as well as a free outside gym with rudimentary options. An ice hockey rink which used to be a bandy field but not sure there's bandy available in the new rink. There's also an ice skating rink and a few football soccer fields. Some of them can be used by anyone. The surrounding area consists of medium sized woods with a bunch of running trials. There's often activity around here and a great place if you have a dog. It can be a big unnerving at night since only the immediate area is illuminated. The vast majority of the woods are dark.
