I broke my nose on Saturday evening and visited the emergency room. After waiting for 9 hours, I was finally seen but not treated. They told me something that I already knew “your nose has a fracture, you should visit another hospital” 9 hours to get this answer!nnIt seems that a broken nose isn’t considered an emergency here—perhaps because it’s not the staff who has to endure the pain and discomfort.nnThe experience has left me extremely frustrated. The healthcare system in Sweden, at least based on my experience, feels inefficient and poorly managed, especially compared to other European countries.
Sankt Göran's Hospital is an emergency hospital located at Sankt Göransgatan on Kungsholmen in Stockholm's inner city. The hospital is run by a joint-stock company owned by the healthcare group Capio.nThe main part of the operations at the hospital, which is now called Capio St. Göran's Hospital, is carried out on behalf of Region Stockholm, which also owns the hospital buildings. The hospital is located in the Stadshagen district, and is connected to the subway. The hospital is located near St. Göran's church.
Staff is friendly, nice and professional but to wait 6-8 hours with acute pain is crazy. Nobody seems to care
The best hospital I have ever been to. Great personel, knowledge and service!
Horrible attitude to people, no help, no help only 6 hours of waiting, no one cares about you.
