Positiv: The room was clean, quiet and had everything what you need. The Location was perfect to reach the airportbus.nnNegativ: at the end of my stay, they charged me a different higher price! As I noticed afterwards, that I had payed too much, I got back to them via E-Mail obviously I wasn't in the country anymore and showed them all the old emails of the booking process and what price we discussed back then.nLong story short, until this day I didn't got the money back. They refuse to answer my Emails.nnI wouldn't book it again in the fututure because of this incident!
Home of a Sami Musuem, generally lower prices than other hotels in Kiruna, friendly staff took care of our bag while we went away for a 8 day hike we stayed the night before and after the hike at the hotel, simple breakfast on weekdays. Just note that location is a slight walk to old town center but it is near to the very excellent Stejk Street Food and airport bus stop. Also note that there is no manned staff after 3pm and on weekends but check in is arranged in advance. If you don't see the staff, you need to pay cash or make advance payment through transfer. Just a small inconvenience on this part. Be sure to visit the Sami Museum.
Typical Swedish atmosphere, very cozy and welcoming. Lovely breakfast and coffee and tea available at all time in the kitchen. Room was spacious and beds were very comfortable. Great location close to the city center, bus stop and awesome Stejk street food. Good value for Kiruna. Tack så mycket!
This hostel is really clean ! We didn't see the personnel until our Last day because we were there on the week end. Really close to the train station. You have a supermarket 30 mn walk and others little shops closing earlier 4pm and a bit more expensive.nThe outside is old but you are sleeping inside and all is good and again : really and perfectly clean ! We had a room with bathroom ! You have a kitchen with a fridge to Cook !nThe museum is tiny but cool but close on week end like the breakfast.nWe payed less price because we were on week end.nClose to the city and the Luossavaara Mountain.
A great value hotel just a 10 minute walk from the shopping centre of Kiruna and the bus station. Very nicely maintained with kitchen facilities for self catering and a lovely breakfast supplied from 6-9am. Good for hiking the Kungsleden with buses going to/from Abisko and Nikkaluokta.nAlthough staff are available Monday to Friday they are also contactable by phone on weekends. Well use the Hotel Samegarden again when we go back to Kiruna. Thanks!
