Amazing work by the sculptors. Nice to see international work, too. We walked through in the mid morning when the sculptors were still working on their pieces, then back later in the afternoon, and it was interesting to see the progress.
It was really amazing to see all the sand sculptures that were made for the competition. Some didn’t even look like they were made from sand.

Fantastic sculptures they design, always fun to go there and look at. But in the year 2025 they were only allowed to stand untouched for about 2 weeks before someone/some unintelligent individuals were there and vandalized the sculptures.
Such beautiful creations built from sand by artists from all over the world. Something for Kalmar to be proud of.
