Sankta Maria Kyrka

Really nice church which I visited on a trip to Åhus.they are currently renovations to the church so that took away some of its shine but overall nice building and the interior is surprising. The church bells ring on the hour every hour until eleven o'clock and once during the half hour so can be a bit annoying but you get used to it. Definitely recommend going there if you are around and to go inside. There is a new memorial outside as well but unsure about access to that part of the church. There is a boat replica hanging from the ceiling which is quite cool. If you go there in the summer, make sure to grab an ice cream after wards from the torg which is really close.
