This is my current favourite hotel to stay at while visiting Gothenburg. I have stayed at two other Scandic hotels in Gothenburg but this one stands out for their amazing services, amicable hospitality and the best staff who are extremely nice and welcoming. It is also located close to almost everything one needs to visit in Gothenburg so that is a perk too. The room was spacious on the 13th floor with a stunning view. Definitely coming back soon!!
The worst hotel I’ve stayed in professional life. You hear everything through the wall, bathroom drain is clogged, you can send here anything, even my Wolt order was not taken in by the reception although inexplicably asked and they promised to. The interior is old, room is small, no slippers, tiny towers, too small desk to work on…
1. The pillows are just atrocious.n30x30 cm is not a good size for a sleeping pillow.n2. The bathroom had fungin3. If you are having the extra bed module by default in the room, at least give some maintenance to it.
Close to Svenska Massan, Liseberg, and Stadium. Easy walk to city centre or public transport is close. Excellent breakfast! Rooms are a bit on the smaller side, but still very nice. Service is great. Will stay again on my next trip to Goteborg.
This review is about the “private parking” offered by the hotel. They have their own parking garage, which is why we chose them, as overnight parking in public parking garages in Gothenburg carries a high risk of break-ins, especially in foreign cars. Since my car was packed road trip, I couldn't take that risk.nOnly AFTER booking and paying did we receive a message that the parking had to be reserved in advance via a link URL.nUnfortunately, the parking garage was full. The alternative offered was a public parking garage.nI called the reception desk to change the booking to another date when private parking spaces were available, but that was impossible. So I had to cancel, which meant I lost all my money.nThe information about the private parking system should be clearly communicated BEFORE booking so that you can immediately check whether or not there is a space available!nThis should not come AFTER the booking and payment procedure!nThe hotel is also not open to solution-oriented communication. A request for a free cancellation refund or change of date was coldly refused.
