Showed on booking.com that 4 rooms were free to book. Yet when I walked in, I was told very abruptly that they are all dirty. And with nowhere to stay at 0100, told I have 10-minutes to sit down and find something else. I worked as a Hotel Manager for 4 years in Oslo, for one of the best boutique hotels on Norway. Without even staying a night, I can say with certain, terrible customer service. It’s Sollentuna Scandic hotel, not The Ritz. Come back down to Earth.
This hotel is not tourist friendly whatsoever and is not welcoming at all.nFirstly, I’ve been staying with my family for a few days, this was my first time visiting Stockholm and this hotel made my stay off to a terrible start.nThe breakfast was very basic. Poor selection. The eggs were very bad; they had an odd smell and were very oily.nThe pastrami and turkey slices were terrible, they made me nauseous for a good while.nThe pastries croissants/cinnamon rolls etc.. were dry and tasted old.nThe room is very depressing, very small, looks old and uncleaned. The fridge had mold and a yellow stain. The bathrooms feel old and the shampoos and conditioners used are so bad. The window was so small and it looks at a car parking. Basic amenities aren’t found. No tea/coffeemaker, no paper towels, no vanity kits, no shower cap. Absolutely nothing. Just a few beds, lamps and a tiny fridge with stains in it.nStaff barely speaks English; if you ask them a question they just smile and give any answer.nThe location is quite bad. Construction is everywhere. The train station is close which is good but there is no nature to look at. Looks very dead and lonely.nI asked for an iron and they gave me a burnt one. I asked for another one and I never got it. Housekeeping is a chore to them. I have to make my way downstairs and ask for it at least 3 times for them to actually provide housekeeping.nOverall the stay was honestly very bad especially for the price you pay. 2000 SEK per night is not worth it at all.
The service was amazing and the hotel is beautifully designed and decorated.nThe room was spotless clean, comfortable bed.nThe staff were friendly and welcoming.nThe breakfast was delicious with a lot of options you could get confused what to eat and what to leave!nnI highly recommend this hotel. VIP-like experience for a great value.
We where only meant to stay one night, but due to flight cancellation we ended up staying an extra night.nOur stay was absolutely lovely.nThe rooms where spotlessly clean, lovely air-conditioning and the beds where soft and comfortable.nThe breakfast was unreal, now we haven't been home to Sweden in 7 years, and walking into this buffé breakfast was like heaven.nThe staff, from cleaners to receptionists where so friendly and helpful we honestly felt like VIP.nnI can't praise this hotel enough, absolutely gorgeous, clean and so friendly.nI do hope we get to return some day.
Here you can stay in very spacious rooms, many with separate living areas. There are also plenty of spacious meeting rooms; our auditorium can accommodate 450 people. A few steps to the commuter train and 20 minutes to the city. But to get to the pool, you only need to take the elevator.nnSit down in our restaurant or bar and enjoy a delicious meal. We have the ability to let 450 guests eat, confer and sleep under one roof, making the hotel the perfect place for large meetings and congresses. In our gym we have a pool and sauna as well as our own spa area, Star Spa.nnWhen you stay with us, you are close to Edsviken with beautiful nature that invites you to take a walk or jog, and there you will also find the historic Edsbacka Wärdhus. Just around the corner from the hotel you will find Sollentuna Centrum with over 130 shops. You are also close to excellent local transport connections. It takes 20 minutes to Central Station by commuter train and Arlanda is approximately 30 kilometers away.
