Stayed here for a couple of days and it was brilliant. The staff were really friendly and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable and had everything I needed. Couldn't fault the breakfast either, plenty of variety. Would definitely return, thank you.
One of the best Scandic so far that im have been. Nice service with big parking lot. Breakfast is lovely and quite social spot with pool and table tennis if you prefer to do so
We checked in very late at night along with booking same evening. We had to make a trip to the childrens emergency room from Bålsta so driving back so late and with all the ice on the roads was not safe.nnAm very grateful we were able to get a room. In any other circumstances I would really appalled at the price but for the situation I would have paid double for the 8 hours we got.nnThe breakfast was disappointing but one of the women fixed it for us as the little one with us just wanted pancakes and they didn’t have any. But she managed to fix a few for her.nnFruit , bottled water & hot drinks should be complimentary…especially for the price paid.
The Scandic Nord Hotel used to be right next to the motorway, but some 10-15 years ago they rerouted that further to the east outside of Uppsala. This is a traditional Swedish 60s-70s motel, but with a lot of modern trappings. While it's now a bit more difficult to get to for travelers just passing through the town, it is a great place to stay if you're visiting Uppsala.
